Briess names 2005 'Malt Artist'
December 3, 2005--Matthew Buhl, 9-year-old son of Sandy and Jim Buhl of
Chilton, has been named the 2005 "Malt Artist" by Briess Malt & Ingredients
Company. Matthew's "Malt Art" image was chosen for the company's 2005 holiday
greeting card which is sent to Briess’ customers throughout the United States.
Jim has been employed at Briess since 1994 and works in the malthouse in
Chilton. Matthew is in the fourth grade at Chilton Area Catholic School. Matthew
was one of five children of Briess employees who participated in the annual
Holiday "Malt Art" Program. For their participation, each child received a gift
certificate to local merchants.
